Getting Back In The Game

Hello everyone!!!!

I’ve been on the bench long enough. I am getting back in the game of life. Thanks for all the condolences and well wishes. They meant a lot to my aching and empty heart. 

Several of you messaged me wondering the outcome of our hike. It would be a spoiler to post the end before I finish filling in the journey. My last posts were quick and non detailed. Humor me while I chronologically update the last five weeks of Shortcake’s, Batman’s and my Appalachian Trail experience. If some of the posts seem like a repeat, no worries, they might be, just edited or updated. So let’s get back to the trail. The place I am truly at home and a place of healing.
